I am an Illustrator living and working in Edinburgh. My love of books led first
to reading everything I could get my hands on, and then to the creation of books themselves. My inspirations lie in literature, poetry, quotes, novels and short stories. Place also inspires much of the work created.
I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2008 with a first class honours
in Illustration, then continued on to complete an MFA at the same institution funded by Postgraduate Award for Professional Preparation Masters Scheme
from Arts & Humanities Research Council. During my Master's research
I launched the imprint The Book Tree Press allowing me to design experimental
and sculptural artist's books then take them out into the public domain.
Other loves include cheese, chocolate and the colour red, as well as travel
whenever I get the chance.
