Workshops

Running workshops is a great way to inspire others and also get a creative shake up yourself. I have enjoyed delivering workshops for all ages for over 10 years. Clients have included Craft Scotland, Edinburgh International Book Festival, Wigtown Book Festival, University of St Andrews, Superpower Agency, National Museum of Scotland, National Library of Scotland and many more.

Half day bookbinding workshops

In this 3 hour workshop you will discover some of the basics of bookbinding, learning about paper and the materials used whilst creating at least 3 different kinds of book. These flexible designs can easily be recreated at home with minimal materials. This workshop can be aimed at adults or young adults, ideal for groups of no more than 12.

Children’s workshops

Children make incredible books! Book a workshop where participants can create their own revolting recipe books, or design a 3d rocket ship book. Bespoke activities can be designed for any age group and theme. Pop-ups anyone? These workshops are great for highlighting museum and library collections, book festivals or celebrating an event.
